great spots for city strolls and landmark visits
I had a lovely stay here for 2 nights, enjoying the easy access to Mary Newman's Cottage just a few steps away and the delightful Great Atlantic Map Works Gallery less than a 5-minute walk, which really made my weekend enjoyable and full of local charm.

the staff were super friendly and helpful, always there when we needed them. location is amazing, you can see the stunning bridge from the pub. the food was really good too, i definitely recommend tryin' it out after a long day. our room was big and comfy, everything was clean and tidy. we felt really welcomed throughout our stay.
the only downsides were the noise at night, it was kinda loud, and the mattress could've been more comfy. also, it would've been nice to have a bedside lamp instead of just relying on the main light.

The location is ideal, providing easy access to various attractions. it’s just a short journey from the Tamar bridge. The staff demonstrate remarkable hospitality, ensuring every need is met. the room lacks necessary updates and furnishings like additional bedside tables. there was an issue with noise during our stay, which disrupted sleep. The food was a highlight, particularly the hamburgers, which were delicious.

The Deluxe Triple Room was spacious enough for us, which was a plus. The decor felt a bit dated but had its charm. It was clean, and the little touches like tea and coffee made it feel more welcoming. we did find the bed a bit uncomfortable and the noise from the pub downstairs could get loud at times. it had its good moments and not-so-good ones.

Great stay with friendly vibes
We had a comfy stay for a night in this spacious room. Clean and cozy, just what we needed. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help out. We enjoyed a nice meal at the bar/lounge area, which was a bonus. Only thing was the WiFi could've been better. No big deal, though!

We had a lovely two-night stay in a Deluxe Quadruple Room, enjoying the cozy tea and coffee setup and the comfy beds. The kids had a blast in the garden and loved the family-friendly games available. The only downside was the slight noise from the pub below, but it didn’t ruin our enjoyment at all! 😊

Helpful staff and great location
Had a bit of a mixed experience. The location was ace, right near the bridge, and we found a fab restaurant close by. Staff were super chill and helpful but the room we got was kinda shabby. Shower was gross, and the bed was a nightmare. Free parking was a plus tho!

The location suited my needs perfectly as it was just a 15-minute drive to my course, which was a significant advantage. The spacious room was well-heated and kept clean, providing a comfortable environment. Unfortunately, breakfast wasn’t provided, but a nearby café offered reasonable options. Interaction with the staff was minimal, but they were pleasant when needed.
